FLOYD B. ALVESFloyd Alves is the Vice President Emeritus of Increase International, a ministry committed to teach, mobilize the body of Christ of Christ worldwide in the principles of prayer for the purpose of enhancing spiritual growth as well as furthering world evangelization; and to strengthen Christian leaders through prayer, encouragement and restoration.
In 1973, following the commission of the Lord Jesus, "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations," Floyd left his employment at Bell Helicopter Company to serve Him full time.
Along with his wife, Elizabeth, they established Alves Christian Outreach, an evangelistic work that took them to many nations to teach the gospel and share God's love. In 1986, they organized an interdenominational Bible training center in
