Increase International -ISTI

The International Strategic Training Institute (ISTI) provides a comprehensive biblical foundation for intercessory prayer and the prophetic in both interpersonal and marketplace ministries. Topics will provide a strong academic rigor with teaching to enrich character development and to identify applications for real life situations. Classes include instruction, small group interaction, hands-on experience and activation.

The program, which is called “Hearing the Voice of God in Life and Business,” is threefold. The first class is “Hearing the Voice of God,” and focuses on:
• Listening in prayer and judging results by God’s Word
• Discerning God’s direction through scripture
• Journaling
• Hearing God’s voice corporately
• Using the Bible to interpret dreams

The second course, “Developing the Prophetic,” emphasizes:
• Hearing, giving and receiving prophetic words
• Testing and judging prophetic words
• Working as a prophetic team
• Journaling prophetic words with accuracy
• Pitfalls of prophecy

The third course, “Prophetic Business Training,” is what sets ISTI apart. Speakers include successful CEOs, CFOs and business entrepreneurs. The curriculum encompasses the following:
• Prayer and prophetic etiquette when working with a business
• Working and praying on-site as a prayer team for a business
• Fundamentals of biblically based business training
• How to lead a prophetic team on a business venture

During the “Prophetic Business Training,” students have ample opportunity to apply what they have learned in the previous two classes. Classmates are grouped into teams and sent into a business to discern insights about the organization. The business owner is then debriefed with the prophetic discernment the team has received. This exercise not only produces gratitude in the employer, but it also builds confidence, faith and courage in students. Alumni know the value of hiring on-site intercessors. One entrepreneur reported that after attending the ISTI, he hired a separate intercessor for every department in his business. The company experienced such growth that it now has divisions in five nations with a fulltime paid chaplain to oversee national and international branches.
